Group 1 – Small-Bore Production
Small displacement production cars
SCCA production classes F, G & H production, C and D sedan up through 1972 prepared to the 1972 or earlier SCCA General Competition Regulations (see the section Updated Vintage GCR on the page). H-Modified through 1965, selected D Sports racing, Monoposto legal Formula Vee and SCCA Improved Touring through 1997*.

“Continuation” cars in production prior to their cutoff date are eligible and must be prepared to that cutoff date or earlier SCCA specification.

2F2B – Formula 2 1964-1966 1000cc

2CF – “Club Ford” 1973 to 1981

Medium displacement production cars
Medium-bore production cars up to 12/31/72 prepared to the 1972 SCCA General Competition Regulations (see the section Updated Vintage GCR on the page). SCCA classes C, D, E and F production, selected B Sedan and SCCA Improved Touring through 1997*. Mazda Miata - only 1st gen, 1.6L.

Group 5 – Sports Racers
Raced between 1960-1970 on treaded tires
World Sports Car Championship and World Manufacturer’s Championship GTs and prototypes as raced between 1960 and 1970. USRRC sports cars and Can-Am as raced before 1967 with invited later models.
5ASR – USRRC & Can-Am over 2.0L through 1967, FIA 5.0 litre sports cars and 3.0 litre prototypes as raced in the World Manufacturer’s Championship through 1970
5BSR – FIA under 2.0L
SCCA D-Modified (2.0-3.0L) specs. thru 1967 (Lotus 19, Cooper Monaco)
SCCA B – Sports Racing 1300-2000cc
5CSR – Under 1300cc
5FM – 1150cc – 1600cc
5GT – FIA GT Coupes and Sports cars
Group 6 – Big-Bore Production
Large displacement production cars
SCCA A and B production, Trans-Am over 2 liters and A Sedan cars up to 12/31/72. Also SCCA American Sedan through 1989 and Corvette Challenge cars.
